why nga ba?

coming into the workroom today during recess, a small group of grade 7 students, all of them officers last year, saw me and talked to me. One of them kept asking why? Why was i in grade six and not in grade seven? i told him, it was not my call, it was not "my say". i was happy with the assignment because much as i enjoy being in grade seven, i really couldn't see why there's simply lots of things needed to be done there. still, he persisted...he said, it felt like such a long time when they longed to be in grade seven and when they started school, they were obviously disappointed because i was not in the team. finally, i acknowledged their feelings and said i was actually flattered but just like what i said, it was not for me to decide. sensing that he is banging his head on the wall, he went to another issue, that of not being with SC anymore. that, unfortunately was a personal choice. i guess i was simply too tired because of SC that i felt i've done my time (much like a prisoner???)and the time was ripe for new blood to step in. well, i guess he felt he did couldn't do anything about the situation, and so do i. finally, i told them that i may not be inside the classroom or in their SC meeting but i am still around.....
